Unfortunately, while I was on honeymoon, I heard news that my friend, Isaac, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. His funeral will be on Monday. Please join me in praying for his family and friends who are grieving during this time and also thanking God for his wonderful life.

Some prayer items going into this month:

-Continued treatment following my surgery

-This new school year, for the students, families, and teachers

-Isaac’s friends and family

-Dorcas continues to be in recovery from chemotherapy treatment, she requires monthly medication that costs $300 to continue her healing

-That Noah and I’s marriage would be a blessing to both us and others as we seek to grow, learn, and lean on Christ

Oh, so, gratefully,

-j.

  1. Thank you for sharing both your joy and your sorrow with such honesty. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding, and may God richly bless your marriage as you both continue to grow in Christ together. I am deeply sorry to hear about Isaac’s sudden passing. Praying for God’s peace and comfort over his family and friends during this difficult time. I will also be praying for your continued recovery, for Dorcas’ healing and provision, for the students, families, and teachers in the new school year, and that the Lord will strengthen and guide you both in every step of your new journey together. May His grace, love, and faithfulness be with you always. God bless you abundantly.
