summer 2024.

& just like that my time in Canada nears its end once again. I am thankful for the past six weeks in this country visiting with family and friends. I am grateful to have spent time with many of you. From coffees, to meals, to walks, to prayers – thank you for taking time to connect with me.

This summer had its own unique set of challenges mixed many new beautiful memories.

Here are some things I am grateful for:

sunshine

the lake

friends that have become family

road trips

iced coffee

my nephews

starry nights

hugs

shared laughter

shared tears

books

long walks

deep talks

prairie sunsets

Canadian treats

quality time

I know that upon my return to Nairobi next week, I will instantly be in “go-go-go mode” as I unpack and settle in to my new home, neighborhood, and job. I am looking forward to seeing my friends upon my return as well as make new ones. I am expectant to grow in many ways this year. Thank you for your continued support of me and this ministry in Nairobi. I am excited to see how God will use me this year. Thank you for journeying and partnering with me. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your summer!

Blessings,

-j.

  1. Hi Jocelyn: sorry that we were not able to connect while you are home this summer. You obviously had a great time with family & friends. Trust your new position goes really well. We look forward to hearing from you when you are back in Kenya. Our prayers are with you always. God Bless you. Jim & Marilyn

  2. Hi Jocelyn: We were so happy that you could speak to the Ladies Tuesday Morning Prayer Group. Happy that you could visit with family. May the Lord give you wisdom and discernment as you begin your new ministry/teaching at a new facility in Nairobi. I pray a hedge of protection over you as you travel back to Kenya and begin your new position. I am sure that you will do well. Blessings in the weeks ahead. Love and Prayers Pat Reimer Psalms 100
