summer 2022.

Hello friends! I have arrived safely back in Nairobi and am feeling the jet lag! It is currently 4 am as I write this, so I thought, a good a time as any to update you all.

If I had to describe my summer in three words, I would have to say… My summer was life-giving, sweet, and filling. After having been out of the country for 2 years, returning to Canada was truly wonderful. My short 2 months were jam-packed seeing family and friends. I am so thankful to have been able to see so many people. I visited all 4 provinces from BC to Manitoba! I am thankful for time to build new memories and reminisce about ones already made.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who took the time to see me this summer, pray for me, support me, all of it! I would truly not be able to live this life in Kenya without all of you! I am filled with overwhelming gratitude for the community God has blessed me with in Canada, it made leaving very hard!

Thank you for your continued prayers as I begin my third year here (back to work on Monday)! Prayers for beating this jet lag would be much appreciated and any messages or emails of encouragement or prayers are always welcomed. Thank you for filling me up this summer and investing in my life. I will return to writing monthly updates for you to read, so stay tuned at the end of August!
