november 2025.

First, thank you so much for your incredible support with the Christmas orders! I’m truly grateful for each of you who have placed an order or shared about them with others. This is just a friendly reminder that all orders are due by next week, so if you’re still hoping to purchase something, there’s still time! Here is the link to what I’m selling:

My market friends also send their greetings and gratitude. They are so grateful for your orders and support! They wish everyone could come meet them to say thank you in person. 🙂

This month at school was Spiritual Emphasis Week (VBS), and it was such a joy-filled time. Our theme was “How DEEP the Father’s love for us,” and the students dove into an ocean-themed week of Bible lessons, crafts, and activities. Watching them engage with Scripture and have fun while learning was such a blessing.

My students continue to amaze me. They are growing in so many ways from learning to express and manage their emotions, building independence during transitions, recognizing letters and understanding words on a page, and even discovering how addition works. I am so proud of them! One of the highlights of the month was our disability awareness panel for the high schoolers. It was powerful to see both students and staff share about the various disabilities and neurodiversity represented in our school. The honesty, courage, and empathy on display were incredible. We also had some fun spirit days, everything from wacky day to safari day, and I loved joining in and creating memories with the kids.

This month, I also spent time rereading the book of Esther, and her story spoke to me in a fresh way. I was reminded of her remarkable bravery, obedience, and trust in God, even when she could not see the full picture. One verse that especially encouraged me was Esther 4:14, where Mordecai tells her, “And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther stepped forward with courage, not because the circumstances were safe, but because she trusted that God was already at work in ways she could not yet see. Later, before approaching the king, she called her people to fast with her, showing that her strength came not from herself but from dependence on God. Her story reminded me that faith often looks like moving forward with courage while resting in the truth that God is sovereign, faithful, and present in every detail, even the ones we cannot see yet.

Outside of school, life was full as well. FaceTime dates with my nephews and family, outdoor markets with friends, a movie theater trip, and soaking in the beautiful warm weather that has arrived.

And I saved the best news for last…
I’m engaged! My boyfriend of nearly three years, proposed last weekend. 🙂 I am so grateful that he was able to come meet all of my family in Canada this summer. God has answered our prayers and we are so grateful. Let the wedding planning begin! I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how God continues to provide, answer prayers, and gift me with a family of my own right here in the beautiful country He has called me to.

Thank you for your continued support, encouragement, and prayers. I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you. I look forward to seeing some of you in only a few weeks time!! I will be sharing a ministry update on Sunday, December 28th at Trailview Alliance Church and will have some coffee for purchase after the service as well.

With love and thankfulness,
Jocelyn
